After tonights show at the Trocadero, we will be taking a month and a half break. Playing 2 shows a month while working full time and promoting has been a bit much on us. I will also be on a west coast road trip/vacation for a couple weeks. So when i get back, Me and Greg are going to have 8 solid, finished, rocking tunes ready for download on JUNE 30TH that ya’ll will be able to get for free on this site when the date comes. New site address is now up and running… Still the same old demos from November and a old site design but that will change within the next month or so. I am hoping to have some live tracks up as well as a new song or 2 eventually if i can figure this shit out. SOOOOO anyway…  What has been going on since the last update? We lost a band member, (which was awesome) and we have a few more gigs lined up

We have changed the band name from The Eric Schmidt Band to Native Sky

ESB was just temporary until i found a group of musicians that share the same passion of music as I do… It was a terrible name but at first it was just me. So anyway, I will be looking into new domain names for Native Sky. This site will remain active with shows and news for the time being.

We have just been added to the Headlining spot at The Legendary Dobbs again on Friday 4-20!!!!!  I know… How fitting, right? Also, I will have some time this week to add more video and some new photos from our last Dobbs gig. Might even have a new demo up next monday…  we shall see.. (fingers crossed x)

P.S  Great news for our gig at the fire on 3/14/12…. The amazingly talented Mr. Ryan Simmons will be filming our set in addition to the show being recorded by Fresh Produce Studios. We are beyond stoked for this and we hope that everyone comes out for some support! I also added 2 videos to the video section… They are not the best but still gives an idea of the energy of the live shows!

A huge thank you to everone that came to last nights show at The Legendary Dobbs. The place was packed and the other bands were phenomenal! It was hands down one of the best moments in my life. My apologies in regards to this site. It has been up a month now and it is still vacant… All i can do is reiterate to come out to the live shows. I still have tickets available for The North Star on 02/21/12 for just $5 or they are $7 at the door day of show. Also, Our gig at The Fire on 3/14/12 is being recorded for a live audio demo so please come out and jam!!!!
